SkyBitz' Battery Life Calculator claims that its GLS 200 terminal battery will last 3.1 years with a 1-hour wake-up cycle, when delivering two reports per day. A TransCore Slap & Track terminal's batteries will last up to six years with the same reporting schedule and 30-minute wake-up cycle.
